Books and ledger
The entities, chart of accounts, posted journal entries and lines, and locked periods, each a REST route with the same parameters and the same answer, plus list_books for an app signed in with 42six.
list_entities
The entities (sets of books) in the key's workspace, each with its tax profile: legal structure, tax treatment, fiscal year end, NAICS code, state and date of formation, S corporation election date, payroll, sales tax states and 1099 filing.

list_books
The books (entities) you approved for this app, each with its id, name, kind and workspace. Every other tool takes one of these ids as entity.
MCP only, for an app signed in with 42six, where it takes the place of list_entities. It takes no parameters.
list_accounts
The chart of accounts of one entity, active and inactive.

list_journal_entries
Posted journal entries of one entity, optionally within [from, to).

list_journal_lines
Posted journal lines of one entity, optionally for one account and within [from, to). Money is a decimal string; a debit is positive.

Locked (closed) periods of one entity: start and end dates and when each was locked.
